Aurora Aksnes born 15th June 1996 Stavanger is an Norwegian song writer and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves is an album released in May 2015 from Decca Records. It has received a lot of praise from music press and bloggers. Half the World Away, by the Oasis group for John Lewis Christmas advertisements and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole are just two of the artist's high-profile recordings. Katy Perry, who endorsed the tune Runaway from her side, has given her the track a little more attention. Enjoy her day. Aurora Aksnes' earliest memory of music is finding an old grand piano hidden in the attic. The piano was fascinating to her what it could do. Jan Oystein Aksnes was her father. The Aksnes family encouraged her to not to do music just to have fun or to aid in growth but rather, she was encouraged to take it seriously. To achieve this she started writing her own new compositions. She is credited with Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen and Bjork as her main influences. To counter her mother's advice that her children should not be aiming to become famous with her songwriting, but instead be aware of the significance of them and the impact they have on society. The piano was first played by her when she was only six and began writing music by the time she was nine. Her family didn't know about this until she turned 14. The dream was never to turn into Aurora. The only thing she loves is to write music. According to her music, is the best way to express anything.
